I've been having some issues with FO3 crashing at certain points. Here is my mod list from FOMM:

ThePitt.esm

BrokenSteel.esm

Zeta.esm

CALIBR.esm

FOOK2 - Main.esm

FOOK2 - [*censored*] World and Neighbor Kit.esm

FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esm

FOOK2 - Main.esp

FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esp

FOOK2 - Mothership Zeta.esp

MyFOOK2 - Black & White Tranquility Lane.esp

MyFOOK2 - No Rape Victims.esp

UndergroundHideout.esp

LingsFinerThings.esm

Hairday.esm

CrossModData.esm

Wasteland_Seductress.esp

LingsFinerThings.esp

Persona_and_Secret.esp

WeaponModKits.esp

WeaponModKits - OperationAnchorage.esp

WeaponModKits - ThePitt.esp

WeaponModKits - PointLookout.esp

WeaponModKits - Zeta.esp

WMKAA12Shotgun.esp

10mmReplacer.esp (not active)

Dragonskin Tactical Outfit.esp

Dragonskin Bonus Pack.esp

GhostArmor HGEC - Conversion.esp

1alexscorpionsnipergear.esp

JessiCompanion.esp

KelseyCompanion.esp

Everything was working fine until I installed the UndergroundHideout. When I level up the game freezes after I press accept after choosing my perk for that level. Also, when entering the chair to go to tranquility lane, the screen folds down showing the scene of tranquility lane followed by the entire screen going white (this is supposed to happen) but, right after the screen whites out it switches back to the view from inside the capsule with the TV screen showing an endless "Please Wait" message. I can look around and access the start menu but cannot interact with anything.

Like I said, everything was running fine before. My system runs FO3 on High by default. Also, I'm running Win7 x64.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

Since I see you wrote that you recently installed UndergroundHideout.esp I suggest that you use FOMM to put it on the list at the very end of your list and go back to the save game where you initiated it into your game to see, if following Timeslips advice, if it makes it work, "Always put the new Mod as the last in the list."

If that doesn't solve the problem then it is likely conflicting because it has been configured in a way that it interacts with Vault 112 scripts initiating with movie clips. If the builder/owner built it from scratch and did not just strip down vault 112 and add their own stuff it should not conflict with Vault 112.

Thank you for the reply. I tried both of your of your suggestions and I am still having the same issue. I'm fairly new at modding so I think I may have screwed up somewhere along the line. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling and see if the problem persists. Thanks again.

  • 4 weeks later...

The Traquility Lane bug is a known issue in FOOK2, and there is a fix for it on their site, which is sadly having issues (database crash).

Looking at your load order, you don't have the FOIP patch for FOOK2/WMK compatibility, you also don't seem to have a Merged Patch made with FO3Edit. Both are MANDATORY.

For the Ling's Finer Things, I think it has an issue with FOOK2 (can't check from their site sadly), and should be loaded before FOOK2 to work at all.

If you use FOSE, it will automatically load .esm:s before .esp:s anyway, no matter where they are on the list.

I'm not sure about hairday, but better put it to load before FOOK2 to avoid problems.

I hope that helps :)
