I can't create any hairstyles like theirs, let alone that thing that comes out of it. I am working on a tail, though.For now, I've just completed a texture for the head, and working on the body/ears. Borrowing eye textures for display purposes, but will create my own more accurate to the film soon. Spiralunix Posted January 27, 2010 Share Posted January 27, 2010 There is already a version of the race out with incorrect cat-like ears. You should make them closer to that of the Navi race. See my attached picture. Also the nose looks like some bright light is hitting the bottom or something- but still looks like a human nose, not the animal like nose of the Navi. The facial features and bone structure of the Navi race are also very delicate, small, and graceful. Be sure to get the height, thin/svelte body frame, and tail in there as well. They have quite a height advantage over humans, a good 2-3 feet or more. I do really like the facial patterns though. None of the other 3 navi race releases so far have that. LHammonds Posted January 27, 2010 Share Posted January 27, 2010 One distinctive design feature of the Navi seems to be a split "V" shape to the face/head. It seems as though they took a normal-sized head, split it down the middle and cracked it open a bit where the chin is the pivot and the top of the head is spread apart by about one inch which gives them a wider head and more separated eye sockets (which allowed them to go "bigger" with the eyes). Hmm you're going to have to create a new texture for it or borrow a resource from someone and tweak it.
