kingtiger4578 Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 So I've added a couple mods to the FOMM, mostly weapon mods and packs. It loads up fine and all the mods appear to be in order. When I get into the game, all my firearms are invisible but are accompanied instead with a huge red diamond with a white exclamation point in the middle. The "weapons" don't make their gunshot sounds either. I'm pretty sure this is a modding issues considering I've verified the cache integrity of the game itself. Is there a way to fix this? Is there a step I missed whilst setting up the mods? I can list which mods I've used if necessary. I might need some help moving the files around considering this is the first time I've used mods for a game that requires this much management. M48A5 Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 You are experiencing missing meshes caused by the mod not being installed properly. Go to one of the mods you downloaded and open it. In another window, open the Fallout 3 file and navigate to Data and open the meshes file. Check the path from the downloaded file against the installed file. They should be the same. For example, the downloaded mesh file will say Data/meshes/weapons/2handautomatic. The game file would be fallout3/data/meshes/weapons/2handautomatic. If you have a path of fallout3/data/meshes/meshes/weapons, the mod was not installed correctly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
