Illiad86
Thanks  We got Jupiter finally! The boyfriend stayed up all night playing TF2 lol and decided to go to our Base of Operations (his mom's house lol) to see it before the sun came up. Wish we could keep the scope here sometimes lol but we live in a studio apartment that's already packed to the gills with stuff. Ma's got a house and stuff and a fridge full of goodies  Plus we got her into astronomy too now lol she loves looking at the Moon There's a sound barrier in her backyard for the highway there and he had to wait literally 2 minutes before sunrise to get anything...I woke up to him coming into the house with big grin on his face: http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/Illiana86/out_62773stacked.jpg and with the 2x Barlow http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv200/Illiana86/out_63994stacked.jpg That little spot next to it is Io  Pardon the noise border there..happened because of being stacked and Jupiter wasn't in the same place the whole time. both about 700 frames stacked in Registax (godly program) taken with our Canon XSi (450D) using EOS Movie Record program to take the Live View off the camera. I can't wait until the end of July, Jupiter will be coming up by midnight or 11 by then

Keanumoreira
Nice pics Illiad, I wish I could use my telescope to do that. The problem is, we don't know how to use it!
Illiad86
hehe is it computerized? It's kinda difficult to figure out where stuff is in the sky without one methinks lol. The planets are easy to eye and most of the cool galaxies are right near common stars.
Thor.
HE, HE, have you tried simply pointing and clicking randomly to see what pops up, you never know what you might find.
