thestaub
Hi all, I've been working on my Mod for quite some time now and the tutorial offered by bethesda was really helpfull so far, but now i encountered a problem I can't even explain, but i try as best as I can. If through designing the InteriorCells and saved a backup copy. Then I opened the editor after trying the areas ingame (all worked fine) and modified the exterior, reconnecting the new door and adding the first quest as well as the aktivator with the script (so far exactly as the tutorial explained). When I now close the Editor (after saving successfully, is suppose) it starts to shut down, then the * reappears next to the name (from the data being modified) and it brings up an error: Duplicate form ID (01000EA6) encountered in File "my mod.esp" Context: DEFAULT"Yes to all" will disable all Warnings for this context. [Ja] [Nein] [Abbrechen]translates to: [Yes][No][Yes to all]As you can see at this part i use the german version of the game although the editor still is english (downloaded it since i have the german "Game of the Year" Edition)I tried, and no matter what i answer it results in my whole mod exept for the changes made exterior and the quest+script to disappear. No InteriorCells build (although the IDs are still present, the Cells are empty) remain. Hopefully anyone can help me. i dont want to see 20+ hours go to waste :'(
pkleiss
That can be fixed with FO3Edit. If you post a link to your mod, I can fix it for you if you would rather not spend the time learning how to use FO3Edit. Just PM me with the link if you want me to look at it. Most likely your error of a duplicate ID (which is bad) came from deleteing an original (vanilla) asset (which is a no-no). I'm not sure how you would have had the oppertunity to delete an original asset unless you did it while connecting your mod to the wasteland.
