First Person Shooter MOD!?

I did a search here and Google and couldn't find any info.

 

Has anyone done or mentioned the idea?

 

I've crudely made a mock-up of what it would look like, dunno with the right idea and mechanics it could work.

Just thinking.

 

You'd load up a new save and see what looks like a meteor streaking through the sky.

You go and investigate, but only to find a crashed ship and a dead Marine (Maybe from the DOOM universe who passed through a Multiverse portal).

 

A band of thieves took the weapons and ammo.

 

The only way to get them is too either quest for it (Find the thieves, kill them, whatever) or buy from a merchant.

Why would you create a mod for something that would fit more for a game like fallout3?? There are some weapon mods for oblivion already, but fallout was (misjudgingly) called oblivion with guns for a reason.

Hm, does look like eh. Well, it's just what a modder could say. It would take a lot of effort to create such a thing and the first responds they'll get is 'it shoots fireballs instead of bullets' ;D. creating the meteor and ship might double the time tho and this wouldn't be created in a fortnight. The problem is 'if done properly' would take long already, you need animations for the weapon, the player, it's usage, the bullet flight. not to mention creating the weapon ;).

Yeah, there is even an assault-rifle like, some more guns on PES and some more elswhere, but I think the OP searches some more.

One could transfer a weapons MOD from F3 and make the rest from scratch I suppose.

Not sure if that would be considered porting or not.

 

Anyway back to the main point, I would like to add that not all gun mods out there shoot fireballs, there's one I know of that shoots bullets.

 

Do you want the zoom to look down the iron sights? If so then it could probably be done, if you changed the angle, and how far, the bow zoom goes. Not sure though.

 

Just throwin you a couple of ideas.
