ResidentWeevil2077 Posted February 2, 2010 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Hmm, I wouldn't exactly take this at face value yet - Sega may perhaps miss being in the console wars, however the images look like a cheap Wii knockoff. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions at this point in time, as everything seems to be tentative and might only turn out to be simple rumours. I'd suggest waiting to see what happens - Sega has always been a competitive company, but ultimately they may have damaged their rep as a console manufacturer with poorly handled incidents involving the legal system, as well as financial hardship. While seeing Sega become a console manufacturer again would see more competition in the video game industry, it may very well spell disaster for them. If they can pull their comeback off gracefully, kudos to them. At this point in time, hype may build up only to be let down, so nobody should get their hopes up yet.
