A great mod idea

I was just playing skyrim in the college of winterhold and noticed that one of my mods, specifically immersive college of winterhold, had a training feature. By this i mean that observing the spell masters cast spells would award you with some exp for that specific tree.

i looked around and couldn't find a mod that did this sort of thing for blacksmithing and alchemy etc.

Now my idea for this mod would be a trainer that allows you to gain a bit of exp every time one of the animation sets have looped from one of the blacksmith trainers, such as gray-mane smithing a sword at the forge and if you are looking at the forge or within X meters from him then you gain some exp. this could simulate the fact that people CAN learn by watching something happen and in my opinion still fits in with immersion.

If anyone wants to give this a go be my guest, if not then would someone be able to guide me to a link that would explain how to create my own mods? i'll probably give up at some point though.

Even if you aren't able to make the mod or link something that can help, let me know what you think of the idea and if you would be interested in the mod if i ever get it set up.

to start making mods, you need CREATION KIT by Bethesda

you can download creation kit from steam............

the best way to learn modding is to view video tutorials on youtube. search it on google or youtube

OR

you can go to the website 'creation kit wiki'..............it's got all the tutorials and guides on how to create mods for both veteran modders and those who want to become one.

as for your mod............m afraid I can't do that

Interesting idea. Sadly, I can't help with that. There aren't a lot of modders available to do things right now, so you'll probably have to set that up yourself. You could open up Immersive College of Winterhold in the Creation Kit and look at how they did that, and attempt to copy how they did it in your own mod.
