pwnedbyscope
well it depends on what you want, the oblivion modding world is extremely vast, asking somthing like this is like asking to fit the ocean in a drinking cup. of corse you should already know needed mods, these are obmm, obse, pluggy, nifscript, and probally the construction set So to start out with mods we'll start with Body mods-most likely if not definitely you will come across armor mods that require you to have some sort of body modifier installed, and more often than not the will a nude based mod, good yes but they may not appeal to everyone, thats why there are safe non-nude alt. that are still popular and look good, anyway its completely preference. In my Opinion is use the HGEC- this is what i can tell the most widely used basis for armor mods, and race mods. it features many, many options, nude and non-nude variants and looks very natural depending or your views.http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15802 other popular mods include http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14942 Roberts male body replacer- for a male player and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15624 Roberts female body replacer- second most popular Now that you have your character model your probably want to download some custom races first you will have to have http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15624- the Corean mod is the basis for all other race mods as it includes the hair and eye files needed I also like http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18247- chocolate Elves and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14528 now you have a character and have started getting into the whole quest line and want to get into some really down and dirty armor and weapon mods, well hold onyou may have noticed that the vanilla oblivion (base unmodded game) is kinda dry and doesn't have much variety in the combat section. Thats why i say an absolute must have for any oblivion player are these two mods http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24936http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8273these twp combined mods completely change the entire way Oblivion fights. a must have. Now you probably really have the itch now that you really, really want some armor and weapons, well just wait, you'll be rewarded I'm guessing now that if you've been following the quest line you should have gotten your horse now and well you super excited... its a horse, woot, a horse. how... boring wouldn't you rather ride a Dragon ??? Now the all powerful you has a dragon a shiney new steel longsword and! a! fireball... a great big puff of smoke, i mean a candel would do better right well no, but through your trials and tribulations with the C.S. you cannot fix the majic system in oblivion, is ann hope lost!?!, nope. some one fixed it for you see Huzzza now you are all powerful and rule the kingdom, sort of, hmm but there is something your missing isn't there????? O yea what kind of king dosent have shiney new armor, better yet what king dosent have alot of shiney armor, well i guess you've earned it http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17032http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28723http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24850 http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27242http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22794http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14999 really good mods that i couldn't fit in my story http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10763-custom UIhttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14999-entirely new worldspacehttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8235-huge castle, with quest Und Willkommen zu die besten Änderung community jemals

bben46
As mods are very subjective, their really are no must have mods. Everybody likes different things. If everybody wanted the same thing there would only be one mod for each category. Just because I like a mod dosn't mean that you will- or should - like it. Look through the top 100 list first. These are the most popular mods and most of the ones you will like are probably to be found here. If not, there are over 18,000 more where those came from. Now, there are some things you should have no matter what your taste. These are actually utility programs that make it easier or better to work with mods.Be sure to read the instructions as these do not install like mods and if you install them wrong, they will be useless to you. OBMM - Oblivion Mod Manager - needed to change the mod load order, along with many other handy utility functions.Available here: http://timeslip.chorrol.com/obmm_download.html OBSE - Oblivion Script Extender - Needed for many mods, without it they will not work.Available Here: http://obse.silverlock.org/ Then you will need an unzipping program. I recomend 7-zip. It is absolutely FREE, unlike other popular unzippers such as Winraar - which is a try before you buy and conatantly reminds you to pay for it, 7-Zip , available FREE at TesNexus, Here: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15579 Now, some advice, Don't install a bunch of mods at one time. The time you save will be lost trying to find which one is causing the problem. Instead install one mod, start the game and make sure it works before installing another. If there is a problem, fox it before installing another mod. More mods will not make it better and will probably make it worse as well as harder to find out which mod is causing the problem. pwnedbyscope
Well your very welcome and as ben said mods are subjective, and the number is well over 18,000 on the nexus site alone so one could get carried away
