tinylewtgriffon
:bunny: Well, I got a new computer a while ago and have been playing Fallout (GOTY) but one morning, It wouldn't work. I was like, WTF?! The night before, the game crashed, but I didn't mind, but after I ejected the game, within the center ring of the disk, It looked like a section of the disk had melted, or like, water or some liquid was inside. This happened to anyone? I'm kinda ticked because I had all these mods to play with... :bunny: PS, I like the dancing Bunny...He's really there for no reason
Alastair91
Never happen to me before, even for other games. How long have you own Fallout GOTY?
gsmanners
You know you don't need the disc in the drive if you just run via FOSE or fallout3.exe? Why ruin your DVDs for no reason?
WoogieMonster
1. Patch your game so you can play without the disc 2. Go buy a cheap blank disc 3. Backup your system 4. Use that cheap blank disc to run some tests on your optic drive. If it's malfunctioning in a way that physically damaged / burned a disc, you should probably take that as a warning that you're about to have a catastrophic system failure. With new game-rigs, this is not unheard-of.
