Curious Chorrol Crashing...

Ok I have trawled this forum a fair bit and still come up empty on my current problem.

My Oblivion crashes when ever I enter the area surrounding Chorrol, including Weynon Priory.

This crash occurs regardless of Fast Travelling to Weynon Priory, or if I walk into the area manually. Note that when fast Travelling the game only crashes after the load finishes.

As you can imagine this makes completing the Jauffre quest and finding a waypoint of a divine... tricky.

It doesn't seem to affect fast Travelling into Chorrol itself though.

In addition, Knights of the Nine and The Shivering Isles are installed too, but nothing was wrong when they were installed. Just covering my bases.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

 

OK it has been resolved, The Pack Ponies mod was the cause.

Hey dkcydr, for what it is worth, I'd begin by reviewing the mod list to see if any of the mods change the region of Chorrol. If they do, deactivate them and see if that works. Begin with Emma's Packponies, which you can obtain at the Chorrol stables. Failing that, you might have to deactivate mods one by one in order to discover the culprit.
