I get thoroughly muddled with the SKS Rens/SKS Rens Chinese series; some are "in" MBP, but without the nifs (so I've been told).

I think that is Evy, or Evy Air by Alex3001. If anyone knows where to find the hair (probably SKS Chinese), please let us know.

Hey dkcydr, for what it is worth, I'd begin by reviewing the mod list to see if any of the mods change the region of Chorrol. If they do, deactivate them and see if that works. Begin with Emma's Packponies, which you can obtain at the Chorrol stables. Failing that, you might have to deactivate mods one by one in order to discover the culprit.

Hello, I am hoping for help with a permission issue. I have a mod that corrects a broken dependency in a mod by Abriael. All my mod does is correct the path to point to a new version of a mod by a third author (the original having been deprecated and so removed from Nexus). My mod also restores some hair and eyes in an effort to restore the original mod author's intentions, as there were changes in the third mod. The original readme states: "If you wish to use the moon elves companions included in this pack in one of your own mods, you are free to do so, as long as you give me and Xenius (expecially him, since he created the race) proper credit. You are not though authorized to upload this mod as is on any other website without the consent of its creator." By my reading, I am not redistributing the original mod by Abriael, I am just patching it, so it is not "as is." The wrinkle is that Abriael's mod contains no assets, just an esp, so it could be said that I am redistributing it. In another of the mods by the same author, he writes: "As I moved to Dragon Age Origins, I'm not updating this file anymore. It should still be working, but I'm not guaranteeing compatibility with mods released after the latest update of this file or required files updated after the same date. Please don't contact me asking to update it, because I don't even have Oblivion installed at the moment. If you find the need to update this mod in order to make it work alongside newer mods, you're authorized to do so and to upload your own version on TESNexus, provided that you give credit where it's due." Unfortunately, there was no such language in the readme/on the web page for the mod in question here. But the author's intentions seem clear enough. I have tried to contact Abriael twice (maybe three times?), without success. Am I safe to unhide my mod? I would also like to release a fix for another of Abriael's mods that has a similar problem. Thanks for any help! :cool: EDIT: Sorry, just discovered an additional wrinkle by clicking on the "permissions" icon on the mod page: "Modification permission: You must get permission from before you are allowed to modify my files to improve it." Am I modifying or simply patching? Etc. Any advice appreciated.

I don't care that sometimes there are problems. I just come back later. The site and the mods on it are absolutely fantastic. There would be a big hole in my life without nexus. I work on contract & live paycheque to paycheque; if things stabilize, I'll get a premium membership to try to give back.
