SheosMan117
Now earlier today FOMM worked perfectly. Now, for no apparent reason, I get a Microsoft.NET Framework error that says "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately." And the actual error says "SplitterDistance must be between Panel1MinSize and Width- Panel2MinSize." If I click continue, FOMM will launch, but only the taskbar shows something. There's no window. I didn't change a thing from this morning, it did that out of the blue.
mechine
uh idk I have .NET Framework 1.1.NET Framework 2.0 SP2.NET Framework 3.0 SP2.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 No idea where I got it, I think it's from making fallout 3 mods, some of the stuff uses it. Shoot I'd would try re-installing FOMM before I did anything else, maybe there's a updated version, an a fresh install might clear it up anyway, before we mess anything else up, you know. See if you have a bunch of them like this, then launch windows update an see if it pulls up any .NET frameworks, but you don't have to install all the updates, most times you are better off just using the main ones, like windows service packs, WMP updates, Direct X updates, the NET stuff, an then any signed drivers it pulls up, an then I.E. updates, if you use it. But it's up to you, use all the updates an see if it works just as good as far as performance. If it's mainly a gaming PC then yeah the updates most time will make the system do a bunch of stuff you don't really need, slowing it down maybe, if you have a system disc though there's no risk in trying out all of them though I guess. It's a safe bet to only get what you know for sure that that you will need.
