best programs to start modding with

I was wondering what the best programs are to start modding with like nmm and boss?

If you mean you wan't to start creating mods then there are a few things worth getting, and they are as follows,

 

Paint.net (Texturing) - Free

Nifscope (Creating CK ready Models) - Free

Blender (Creating models) - Free

Creation Kit (Creating Mods/Plugins)

NMM (TESnip, BSA Archive Explorer) - Free

 

Photoshop and 3ds Max are good but are quite pricy.

Those are good but I mean things that manage and sort your mods for a less problematic play though.

NMM if you're looking for something less complex.

 

Mod Organizer if you want more features, but are fine with a more complicated system.

 

Wrye Bash for the bashed patches (use it with one of the other two).

Optimizer Textures for anyone who doesn't have the GPU power to render 4k teeth textures.

BSAopt, because these textures don't simply jump outta their archive, you gotta pry that thing apart and rip em out!

ENB FXAA SweetFX Manager and Remover does exactly what the name suggests. Allows you to backup then delete your enb setting to try something new, and later revert to it after you found out the new thing isn't for you.
