takunta
Hi all, quick question if anyone would mind offering some advice; I want to make a revolver fully automatic from another mod (It would be for personal use unless millenia gave permission to post it to the nexus) Since, the mateba unica model 6 is the worlds first automatic revolver. However in game, it's still a single click per shot.I want to make the revolver automatic, how would I go about doing this?I know this is super basic stuff but I don't want to mess anything up (though I doubt I can with how limited my knowledge is) so any and all help would be incredibly appreciated. WhiskeyRiver2
Whoever told you that the Mateba was an actual "automatic" (meaning full-auto, as if it were a machine gun like an MP5) needs to be beaten over the head with a dull, rusty shovel. The Mateba got the moniker "autorevolver" because its action combines the rotating cylinder of a revolver with the back-and-forth cyclic action of a semi-automatic handgun. In reality it's what's known as a "self-cocking" revolver, with the hammer/sear/trigger resetting themselves for single-action fire with each shot. Realism-based ranting aside, this is a braindead-simple change. Open up the mod in the GECK (if it's the standalone Mateba .esp, make it your active file, otherwise just load it up), find the Mateba's entry under the Weapons tab. Double-click it, wait for the new window to load, and then tick the "Automatic" box in the upper-right section. Click "OK", exit that window, save the file, exit the GECK, and enjoy your new happy-switch.
prensa
takunta - Hello! "Since, the mateba unica model 6 is the worlds first automatic revolver." Just to add to the gun nerdiness, the Mateba isn't the first auto revolver, the Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolver works in almost the same fashion with the barrel & cylinder sliding back on firing & forward to cock & turn the cylinder. Webley-Fosbery was first made in 1895 as opposed to the Mateba in 1997. Sorry for the nerd factor, it's just that the Webley-Fosbery is a particular favourite of mine. :) Prensa
