ghostcolt98
Ever since the new mod manager has come out, i cannot get it to open for anything. It just immedently crashes. skyrim and fallout 3 work fine, but not NV. the only problem i can see is that once, when i reinstalled the game and mod manager, it asked me to change the Fallout.ini to not read-only. I clicked yes, because i knew that it had something to do with archive invailed. I got that message after the second time i reinstalled the game, and have not had it since. NV itself works fine and i can still install mods manually, but some things just don't work well when installed manually, like Russel and NVB. a28371
Have you tried running the Mod Manager as administrator?
ghostcolt98
if that was the problem, Skyrim and Fallout 3 mod manager wouldn't work, but as I've stated before, that is not the issue. Besides my computer automatically runs everything as the administrator
ghostcolt98
OH, another thought occurred to me, but hasn't been an issue before. I use FalloutNV 4GB, but the old mod manager worked with that too. Is the new mod manager incompatible with it? a28371
It's possible, maybe try updating FalloutNV 4GB, as it is possible that it is incompatible with the newer versions of NMM
ghostcolt98
no, that can't be right. Fallout 4GB is completely separate from the Mod manager. I had to install it manually. So it wouldn't make sense that a program that sits comfortably in my Documents folder could affect the Mod Manger.
