Jowan & Lily mage origins quest glitch

So i finally decided to jump into this great game after finding a few mods to my liking (did not play it before there were worthwhile mods out there)...

Now i found an annoying glitch allready. Playing as a mage and got to the quest where you need to help Jowan and Lily. Problem is when you enter the dungeons and open the first door (not gonna spoiler it do not worry), Jowan starts a dialogue "He is worried about this..." etc. However Jowan, Lily, and My Char are all transported to the center of the map into the middle of nowhere. Now thankfully you can walk out onto the proper map at one point and basically do the quest in reverse (so you get to the points that further the quest), but everytime you try to talk to Jowan it transports you back to the same middle of nowhere spot. You can still finish the quest, but i was wondering if that was a common glitch or had to do with any mods i have?

Did anybody else encounter that?

And i hope this is not a sign of things to come...

The mage origin worked for me without problems in both the unpatched game and after patching it to 1.2. I guess it's a problem with one of your mods. I found DAO to be bug free (at least come to mind). I only started to have problems after I installed some mods (unfortunately all of them at the same time so now i have no idea which one is causing them).

hope that helps,

alex

Thank you for the quick answer. Maybe it was a freak occurance, as i have been completely bug/glitch free since then as well. When i started to play i pretty much only had the Natural Bodies mod (not the override, but manual install), Polygamey, and Dialogue Tweaks installed. Might be the DT, as that is the only thing i see that could have an effect on that particular mission.

I have since installed many more mods, and had no problems at all. I may go back and play the origin again with not DT and see if that was the problem...

I've honestly never heard of that kind of glitch before.

Should you run into something like that again, if you have console enabled you can just type: runscript zz_cir_debug

to jump to various points of that origin.
