I think RLO is my only shadow-related mod that I've been using as long as I've had this problem (also using about 150 others). This is when holding a light source (currently, Dawnbreaker, while modded to glow). I can get this game to look so good in so many areas, but then I see this in half the interiors >.< Edited June 18, 2014 by chocolatenoodle
Ubertwelve
Any mod that adds new light sources will do this. apparently it is because the game can only handle 4 shadow casting lights at one time and most lighting mods will be at that limit in many places so when you pull out a torch on top of all that the engine will turn off 1 light to stay under the limit. i haven't seen a solution, but i have found some workarounds which i posted here the enb option was working well but i really like lighting mods and high frame rates, so i ditched the enb and am currently using ELFX but instead of using torches or spells to see i use predator vision to avoid the issue rather than fixing it. chocolatenoodle
Reading your linked thread, it seems RCRN might be a real solution. Going to look into that, will post results.
