Dear All,

I am about to get transfered away from home due to job requirements. I´m planning to take my Netbook and 1 game installed to keep me entretained: Morrowind.

However I cant make it work. I am really desperate since I have no idea how to make it work.

I hope there is any of you that can help me out here.

This is what happends:

1 - Install the game: No Issues.

2 - Run the game: Asks for CD drive (wich I dont have since its a Netbook)

3 - Install a virtual drive: Issue FIxed.

4 - Run the game again: ERROR MESSAGE:

"Render Creation Error: "Creation failed: Could not match desired fullscreen mode""

5 - Try restart and run the game again: Same error message.

6 - Install again and run the game: Same error message.

Im stranded here guys.

This is my system config:

Toshiba NB250:

WINDOWS 7 STARTER

intel 1.66ghz

1 GB RAM

250 GB HD

INtel graphic card

The most frustrating thing is that I can run Max Payne 2, Rainbow Six 3 and some others Ive installed. I unistalled them all and only wanted to keep Morrowind but its the only one that wont work!.

This is the program log:

000000: Program Started

000001: Computer Name: Gaston Martinez

000001: Creating Windows

000001: Begin loading of archive header and invalidation of archived files

000205: Finished with header loading and invalidation

000205: Initializing Main

000205: Video adapter: Mobile Intel® 945 Express Chipset Family (8.15.10.1867)

Go here to see if your computer can run the game

You will find Oblivion listed as 'The Elder Scrolls IV, Oblivion

Fallout3 as Fallout3 PC

I hate to say this, you being a moderator . . .

But won't Morrowind run on a computer that won't play Oblivion or Fallout?

Could this problem be a widescreen issue?

Yes it will, but that doesn't mean every computer will run it. Many laptops have hardware problems with games that cant be fixed by software. And if it just won't run, that means that no amount of troubleshooting is going to fix it.
