crimsonwave
I already have FCOM, COBL, Better Cities, CM Partners, Darnified and a whole bunch of smaller mods.. a lot of quest mods I don't know where to begin! I have started looking at MOE. I also play with Deadly Reflexes, and the essential survival mods - I like anything which draws me in, makes the game more immersive, even if it does make it a lot harder sometimes (which, lets face it - not exactly a challenge). I've been through Arwen's mods and Delte's and have found what I think will benefit my game the most. I've played Fallout 3, not to the same extent, I had come quite far through the vanilla Oblivion years ago - and as awesome as I find it its not got the same wow factor for me. Oblivion is immense, but 99% of what makes it great is the mods out there - so I come back to my question, what do you think are the best mods that I may have missed? Many thanks for any suggestions :)
Balakirev
You might want to check out the Oblivion Quest list. It's very well done, and I would suggest checking out the extremely immersive Integration. Which also requires the author's Less Annoying Magic Experience, and Race Balancing mods. crimsonwave
Thanks for that, I have Integration on a list I'm currently playing through - seems I had some difficulty loading it with FCOM (due to the changes to races, although I think I may have fixed this now) any tips or advice? Slawter500
Try taking a look at my mod list. It's specifically meant for mods that aren't well known.Link :)

Is it crashing on start up? If that's the case you're missing one of the requirements. crimsonwave
It was detecting a conflict in Wrye Bash, possibly something to do with racial tweaks in FCOM - I seem to have got it working now though. My game's coming along nicely, its amazing how much these mods enhance Tamriel even small things. I love Oblivion, played it through vanilla a few years ago but then pretty much forgot it existed - but now its like playing an entirely different game. There are still a few glitches, I just had a CTD leaving a building but when I re-launched the autosave took me right to where I wanted and there was no problem. It seems this is just what I've got to put up with for playing hundreds of mods though, I'll keep playing and if it becomes a problem then I'll look for a fix. Good times, I've been through several installs trying to get FCOM and Better Cities and a whole load of other big mods to run and now I'm finished with a (semi) stable build I can actually start playing! Oh, and thanks for supplying the mod list - I will look at that soon
