rafix815
1) Can someone tell me what schould I do, if I download 2048x2048_Full_package_v1_2-20022.7z and I have use instaler and every thing was corect, but I cant find any resulds in game. I mean that, in game schould be new races wchich I can play. I install many mods in Oblivion so I think ,it doesn't work because there is no .esp .bsa or .omod file. 2) How can I instal mods like this one: HGEC_Body_v1dot21-15802.7z where is omod conwersion data where is only : configinfo.txtscreenshotscript.txt (thats full name)In mod it says to use obmm.exe (I have it) but it can't read any of this files ... VictoriaG
Easy way to install omod files, use this: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097
Jenrai
1 - You've not downloaded any races there mate. Thats a re-texture pack. If you read the read-me or file description I think you'll find you need those races to begin with. Yes, you now have better textures for them, but you still don't have the basic race files so no new race in game. Whats more, you'll have to reinstall those textures once you've installed the races, as your new race packs will have the default textures for those races in (unless you take them out of the folders - NOT recomended) 2 - Omods need Oblivion Mod Manager, which I'm guessing is what Floydian linked you to. (can't check. Works web filter stops me from accessing the file servers)... and again, please read the file descriptions/read-me's. I have the Omod of the HGEC body replacer, and I can almost gaurantee that it tells you you'll be needing OBMM. Jenrai

Jenrai
Lol... sorry mate, shoulda thought of this earlier. You've unzipped it... If its an OMOD (looks like the default Oblivion Icon) just double click it. That should start OBMM, which will extract the OMOD and put the files in the right place and do everything else for you. Its nice and simple for deactivating/uninstalling mods too. Just highlight the omod in OBMM, click deactivate (bottom of the OMOD list) and then right click the OMOD and select delete and boom! its gone. In the words of that bloody annoying meercat... "shimple!" Jenrai

Jenrai
I do understand what you're saying mate... the file you have downloaded is an OMOD... not a zipped file. DO NOT UNZIP IT. Download it, drag the icon to your desk top and double click on the icon. If OBMM is installed correctly, and when you installed it OMOD files were associated with it (default is yes... dun wanna change that) OBMM should start when you click it and install in the OMOD for you. Maigrets
Follow the directions I gave in this thread which asked for the same thing you are asking, so I don't have to type it out again. Post number two is about creating an OMOD from the archive you downloaded (HGEC_Body_v1dot21-15802.7z):http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=182217 Then to install Hi Res textures (2048x2048_Full_package_v1_2-20022.7z) check my other posts in the same thread. When you unzip that file it will be over 4GB and has an exe installer which is easy to use. It explains all about the different race textures as well which you only use if you have those races. These two files are body replacers and textures, not actual races, but you will need them if you plan to use clothing and armour for the HGEC body. It should answer all of your questions.
