braidedsin
I'm trying to make a lynx-like character but to start I'd like it to have big hands and big feet. Could anyone help me with this?

braidedsin
is there a quick way to view the mesh with any random texture placed on it? I upped the left hand index, thumb, and middle finger to see how it changed but the only way for me to check it is to place an NPC in a random building rofl. Any help? I tried OBMM's nif viewer but it gave me an 'overflow' error. After I DL'd the skeleton's I altered a regular skeleton's hands and just saved as a nif. Created a race and threw some random textures at it, made an npc that didn't look as altered as the skeleton seemed >.< I'm wet behind the ears when it comes to editing meshes in any way shape or form. The most I've done is texture editing so please be patient
braidedsin
Omg It's hideous. It always has to be saved as Skeleton.nif ?? and does this also modify first person view? And how do I cut his tail off? Lol
zprospero
This is from the Readme of that resource. • This technique produces custom skeletons you can use for NPCs, but can't use for the player as the player's hardcoded to use Skeleton.nif or SkeletonBeast.nif.So you can only use this for custom NPCs, not player characters. If you do choose to use this to make NPCs, you do not have to removethe tail. If the NPC is not a beast race those nodes are ignored.
braidedsin
ah, bummer. I tried cutting off the tail and it crashes the editor anyway. Okay, so there is no way to modify the players skeleton and in the process no way to add bigger hands and feet?
kieranfoy
Youu can make absurdly large gloves and have a script auot-equip them, I guess.
