NuclearWinterLover
I'm sure I'm not the only one who loved the architecture of the Sierra Madre, but couldn't really appreciate it because of the horrible death fog and spooky ghost people. And yet, I've only found one player house mod that uses Dead Money resources on a large enough scale to make a house. Unfortunately, said house mod places it in Zion, which makes it absolutely gorgeous, but a pain in the butt to travel back and forth from. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42140/? While the mod author doesn't allow for modifications of reuploads of their work, it wouldn't be against the rules to take inspiration from their layout, I believe. A gated and walled courtyard, the house itself, and the nice little garden all come together fantastically. The house doesn't need to have any fancy scripting shenanigans at all, as nice as they are. As for where in the world it would be, I'd suggest somewhere in the woods near Jacobstown, or perhaps the flat land behind the Red Rock Canyon sign. They're both pretty places, and probably the nicest-looking areas in the Mojave in my opinion. The interior stuff doesn't need to be fantastically complicated. The basic living quarters, kitchen, bedrooms and storage areas (preferably in a basement) is all. A decent amount of clutter to keep things from being barren, of course, would be a great bonus. Liberties with the layout of the house are well and good. Just as long as it's got a nice Sierra Madre look to it, I'll be happy.
Elianora
Note to anyone wanting to make this for themself: It'd be easier just to grab everything in the exterior cell and drag it to Mojave. But obviously you cannot publish it in Nexus, that'd be theft. But for personal use it'd be OK.
NuclearWinterLover
Oh, yeah, of course. I didn't mean to imply that someone should just copy it, my bad if it wasn't clear. I just linked it as an example.
