kuroftw
Did this quest mess with anyone else's head? The first time through (I'm an altoholic) I went with what Morrigan and Jowan suggested because a friend advised me to. The second time around, to minimize approval loss, I decided to kill Connor. I was really depressed for an hour or two after I did that. I guess it was a combination of him saying how much it hurt, Alistair chewing me out, and Lady Isolde branding me as a murderer. :wallbash:
VictoriaG
Was getting the mages help and saving both Connor and his mother not an option? That will minimize approval loss, apart from Morrigan who just seems to disapprove of everything.
kuroftw
That was what I tried first, but I somehow messed it up royally and ended up getting the Circle killed. Whoops.
roninsoul7
The circle isn't the only way to get to the fade, you can still use Jowan's blood magic to get there as long as you don't kill him. The approval loss' and gains are relatively minor no matter who you bring along so long as you don't bring wynne or lelianna, both of whom are goody twoshoes that disapprove of anything remotely realistic, like using what you have at hand to solve a problem. As a sidenote, you accidentally wiped out the circle? If is was truly accidental, that's... difficult to imagine, but you're not my first hero choice anymore. Second, don't worry too much about killing the kid, since it's a game you can always restart and save him next time, only if you gank a child in real life should you feel badly about it. rebalious
If you feel badly about killing a virtual child, play fallout 3 and go to Little Lamplight. Also I've intentionally tried to wipe out the circle with my knight templar character, but I keep screwing it up. Gratz on killing them from my knight templar.
