Ok, so i go to the readme on this mod or watever and i followed the directions and everything was going well until it said "When you first run the game with the plugin installed it will create a new section in your Oblivion.ini file. You can alter these new settings to alter what visual effects you want to disable."....... so i go to this "oblivion.ini" file... and wat i find is a file that icon looks like a notepad with a gear on it... i click on it and it looks like its only a notepad, and there is no "[VampireTweaks]

bDisableSkinShading= Turns the skin shading on or off.

bDisableAging= Turns the aging effect on or off.

bDisableEyeChange= Turns the changing of the eyes on or off.

bDisableMorphing= Turns the starving look on or off.

bVampLoadFix= Will turn on the vampire face loading fix."

on the notepad thing... therefore... can not change it..... is this maybe the wrong file... or is there just something wrong or what?

PLEASE HELP?!? :wallbash:

1. It's OBSE plugin, so you have to install OBSE, and run the game with obse_loader.exe to make it work properly.

2. The OBSE plugin should be under (your Oblivion folder)\data\OBSE\Plugins. If there's no such directory, make one.

3. Oblivion.ini you should edit is under \My Documents\My Games\Oblivion.

4. OBSE should be installed at where you installed Oblivion. If your OS is Windows Vista or 7, you will need to run it as Administrator, or uninstall the game, re-install it at somewhere else.
Well, in my experience with Win7, if you have Oblivion in the program files directory, you're boned one way or another. Something will eventually go wrong. Pretty much just be expecting it to explode in your face or something.
