Zxain
i enabled armory lab today, and moved all of my items into it, put them on display and what not. i went into the shivering isles for a bit, came out, and all of my things in the armory were gone. the only explanation i have seen is "enabling or disabling this mod will clear your items out" and yet, i have not done either, once, however, i did fiddle with enabling and re-enabling the mod, to save the items. but the exact thing happened again. DavidBudreck
Can you clarify what you mean by "All of my things in the armory were gone." Is it the stuff you put in the mannequins? Or stuff you put into chests? Also, which version. I took a quick look at this mod, and it uses the Reznod Mannequins scripts, unmodified as far as I can tell. None of the containers are marked as respawning, so nothing should be missing from them. My guess, is that in playing around you somehow made a save with the mod deactivated AFTER you had moved your stuff inside.
Zxain
everything, in display cases, the thing i had in my chests, and mannequins
DavidBudreck
Things in display cases do not just disappear, nor do things in chests that do not respawn. You had to have made a save with this mod disabled after having put your stuff there. Or, you used a different version that has different ID's. Zxain
thats what i thought, i just placed every thing in them, then i came back and its all gone ;_;
DavidBudreck
This mod has like a gazillion Endorsements and Zero Thumbs Down, and has been out since April 2006. You can be pretty sure that there are no bugs in it that haven't been cleaned up, and that it does not routinely eat items. I hope you have a save game from not too long ago Before you put all your stuff in there.
Zxain
would the streamline mod do it?
DavidBudreck
No. No mod is going to "do" this, but if they did Streamline would certainly not be it. For objects to disappear:They are placed into a container that respawns, (which thoes in Armory Lab do not).(All the containers in Armory Lab are unique; they would not be affected by ANY other mod).--when a container is placed into the game it gets it's own ID that will remain unless it's parent object or the object itself is deleted, or the mod is removed. They are placed into a container from a mod that is removed. The ID's of the containers in a mod change from version to version. The item is from a mod, and that mod is removed. However, none of these would explaing items missing from a display case (except the last one), which technically does not "contain" items placed inside. The only conceivable explanations for ALL your items missing are:You used a different version of the mod (that changed the id's of the cells it modified -- VERY unlikely). You removed/deactivated the mod, thereby removing the cell that the items were place in. You can use Wrye Bash (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368) to view your saved games and see what mods were active for that save. This may help you track back to a save where you can retrieve your stuff.
