nyphani
trying to make a light armor retextured, got the .mmh, .phy, .mao, .dds, .gda files, the .dds looks fine in photoshop, the armor looks find retextured in DATool, but when i copy it all to the toolset, its just not right no mater what i try.. i know its reading the .mao file, cause i can take out the _0t.dds to get rid of tints, but when i change the _0d.dds, it seems to completely ignore it. i tried changing it to the original armor's 0d file, and it still looked the same as when it was set to the retextured one.. .dds on the left, toolset view on the right:http://www.ravendynamis.com/Blog/huh.jpg any suggestions? i feel like im just overlooking some silly step, but ive been trying to figure it out for a few days now(work on it one day, get frustrated and leave it, thinking it'll make more sense the next day, then repeat) but im out of ideas @.@

At least that's been my experience. I always just drop copies of everything from high into medium to verify it in the toolset, though I rarely use the toolset view for anything. If you are just dropping textures in the override dir or somewhere else, then I don't know.
nyphani
thanks for the reply! ive tried putting them in the /textures/ folder both medium and high, and tried putting them in the override folder. still didnt work either way :/ havent tried working on it for a while now, been busy with other stuff, maybe ill start over fresh and see what i end up with again. other mod's textures ive made work fine, iono why this one wants to be so difficult O.o
