Tintai Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Hello! How can I fix the grass to load faster? I have lots of mods but my computer can handle all of them on ultra & 120+ fps. (I have fps limiter to 60 because physics)Also I have medium fps drop when fast horse riding. This is annoying.Maybe there is an option to give grass higher/faster loading priority? I can type in console "tg", again "tg" and grass appears correctly in my proximity, but this is not the solution This is my mods list: Reveal hidden contents A Quality World MapArmor Set MasksArmored Skeletons and The Walking DeadFootprintsImproved Horse Step SoundsClanking ArmorCloaks of SkyrimWet and Cold + AshesRealistic Smoke and EmbersSplash of RainNo More Blocky FacesHigh Quality EyesEnhanced Night Skyrim Color GalaxyEnhanced Night Skyrim High StarsW.A.T.E.R.Lush Trees and GrassBetter Dynamic SnowWinter Is Coming - CloaksNo heavy muscular walk and idleUnique Booze Bottles HDPlayer HeadtrackingSkyUIImmersive HUD - iHUDImproved NPC ClothingImproved NPC Clothing INPCCMage BackpackApachiiSkyHairNo Spinning Death AnimationEnhanced Blood TexturesRealistic Ragdolls and ForceImmersive ArmorsImmersive WeaponsKillable ChildrenRun For Your LivesVarious guard outfits for Every cityTSBetter embersBirds and FlocksUltimate Combat - Ultimate EditionThe Dance of Death - A Killmove ModSkyrim - MA ScriptConvenient HorsesImmersive Menu BackgroundVanilla Mannequin Script FixDarker NightsRevamped Exterior FogDramatic CloudsEnhanced Lights and FXInsomnia ENBSkyrim HD - 2K TexturesStatic Mesh Improvement ModAudio OverhaulNo Quest ItemsHearthfire Houses FixUnofficial Skyrim PatchUnofficial Dawnguard PatchUnofficial Dragonborn PatchUnofficial Hearthfire Patch This is not my mods loading priority. OboyK Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 besides turning up "grass fade" in display options you mean??
Tintai Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) I have grass fade on 100. But I mean that grass wan't load/or it's loading too slow when I riding a horse and I enter into new areas.Maybe I should use SSME or CTD? Tried. Same. Here is the screen of my problem: Reveal hidden contents http://i.imgur.com/w38AstU.jpg @edit:I have no problem at 120fps. But I can't play at 120fps because this physics... Download "Skyrim Performance Monitor" Run that for a half hour ..post the Graph. Post your System Spec's include amount of VRAM on the GPUPost your BOSS log....
Tintai Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Spec's:i7-2600k, Nvidia 780 TI 3GB, 16GB RAM.This is not problem with GPU or something. Look when I run at 120fps, I don't have this issue. Word is loading perfect at 120fps.But I need limit to 60fps because physics engine is build for 60, not 60+ fps Edited June 21, 2014 by Tintai
Tintai Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) I found the reason of this issue. So when I limiting my fps to 60 using this FPS limiter mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34/?), everything works slower (eg grass loading). But when I changed in Nvidia Control Panel, resolution to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz(so 60fps with Vsynch) I don't have any issue. So this is a problem with this FPS limiter. Now I have a question. There is a other way to limit fps? This limiter in ENB dosn't work for me or it's broken. I don't know. @edit:I did it! There is a tip for peoples who have the same issue:So the problem is in the FPS Limiter like I said. So you need to limit your fps in 3D settings in your Nvidia Control Panel or Catalyst Control Center(I don't if you can do this If you have AMD), anyway if you have Nvidia you can set in the Manage 3D section, chose Skyrim profile(or add if you don't have) and set VSynch to half(so if you have 120, you will have 60). The other method is Nvidia Inspector. Just load Skyrim profile(add path to TESV_original.exe if you have SKSE) and set Frame Rate Limiter to 60 fps. Apply changes and no more problem with Skyrim. Thanks for help Oafkiedawg and camaro_69_327.BTW. I turned off VSynch and I tried to play at 150fps, but this is impossible. I was flying! Edited June 22, 2014 by Tintai
camaro_69_327 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 i have posted the above about 50 times myself.....lol...Skyrims Vsync is slow....Skyrims Mouse accel causes laggy feeling... I actually use...Skyrim Vsync off...have refresh set to 100 and use adaptive Vsync (1/3 refresh ) Game is smooth!! I lowered farther to give the Papyrus engine more time to fire... another thing to check in the Nvidia Inspector is..Frames to render ahead...set it to 1 (default is 3) 3 causes lag/stutter. As that is only a 3 GB video card, I can and have over filled my 3 GB cards (pair of 580's) So is always a good thing to ask amount of VRAM. Loading the outside World , instant 2.8 GB filled.... and i had to pass on a BUNCH of texture stuff...lol
Tintai Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 Yes, that was only FPS limiter fault. For now is good, I don't have any lags and issues.
