I don't know how to proceed.
M48A5
Have you tried a computer restart? On the opening screen, the one where your start the game, place your cursor in the lower left corner and the game version will be displayed. It should show the patched version. If it does not, you have not installed the patch correctly.

I am still unable to run fose and placeing my cursor in the lower-left does not display a version number on the screen. I have tried downloading the patch again and from a diffrent source, (although I originally downloaded it from bathesda) and It has yet to be upgraded.Should I try reinstalling fallout 3 fresh and installing the patch while it's vinilla? I really don't want to have to do that. Would it even fix this?
M48A5
What is the location where Fallout 3 is installed on your computer? If it is in "Program Files", I am not completely sure how to proceed. You could try right clicking on the fallout3 1.7.exe and have it run as an administrator. But the best thing to do is get the game installed outside of "Program Files". The programs SEEM to run fine, but they don't have an effect.C:\Games\Fallout3I get no errors during this process.
