AllInYourHead
I've been changing the appearance of some npcs in geck. I Noticed that the options are much more complete than the in game showracemenu. So how do I use geck to change my player's appearance? There is an entry for player in geck, but the editing does not show up in the game. Or is there a way to access the extra options in the console? Thanks
Cipscis
You can't change the player's appearance via the GECK, but you can create an NPC that can be used as a "template", so that you can select the face from the race menu (ShowRaceMenu). I know that it's a checkbox, but I can't remember the label off the top of my head. "Chargen Face Template" perhaps? Cipscis

AllInYourHead
Thanks! It worked. Now my problem is I'm trying to alter some npcs appearance in the dlc.I have the goty edition. When I try to open Broken Steel there is an error message about not being able to open mutiple master files. So how do I access the npc data for the dlc in geck? You have to change a line in "GECKCustom.ini" In Vista & Win 7 it can be found at C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Fallout3 the line to change is bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=0tobAllowMultipleMasterLoads=
