Hello people, may I please have some help?

Hello, nice to meet you. I'm new here. I'll get straight to the point.

I read through the Terms of Service (like everyone else hopefully did) and saw the thing about how if someone else in your household uses a Nexusmods account, you should notify the staff about it to avoid a misunderstanding. Someone else in my household does indeed have a Nexusmods account. The Terms of Service did not, however, suggest how to actually contact the staff about it.

So, how do I contact the staff about it? Do I click the 'Contact Us' button at the bottom of the screen, or is that the equivalent of calling an ambulance for a minor headache?

I went to the chat section, and I saw this thing:

"Note: this is not a support chat. This is a general chat about anything and everything (within the rules) that our members want to talk about. If you ask troubleshooting questions here don't expect (or demand) an answer. Ask nicely and someone might answer you (if they know the answer) but don't expect an answer and don't continually repeat your question.

Your question would be better asked on the forums."

So it would probably best if I do as they say and keep my question on this forum, rather than going for the chat. Thank you for the attempt to help, though.

Please send a PM with the name of the other account (and is it a roomie, family member, etc) and we will make note of this in the moderators section on your accounts. Please keep in mind that if we discover a formally banned connection or if one of you gets banned then the entire household can be banned (as explained in the ToS.)

If you have any further questions please let me know.

Thanks for letting us know.~Lisnpuppy
