Hey guys so i have tried the multi core fix and multiple different mods that is supposed to run Fallout 3 better, even at medium it will run at max 30fps and freeze every 10 seconds. I have heavy stuttering and i will freeze for like 20 seconds then it will work for 40 seconds and then freeze again. This is my specs

Intel Xeon 8 core 3,0 GHz

64 GB RAM 1688 MHz

2x Nvidia GeForce GTX 690, 6GB VRAM Each.

2TB PCie SSD Drive

3x 4TB Seagate HDD

My specifications are not exaggerated. I work with animating videos and editing videos for very big companies so i need this kind off computer, i did not buy it for gaming but, i love Gaming as a hobby.

From your description, it appears you have edited the wrong .ini. The one you should change is in the "Games" folder. Also, Fallout 3 does not work well with multiple GPUs.

I disabled one of the gpus and I'm 100% sure this is the right folder /User/My Documents/My Games/Fallout 3/FALLOUT.INI

That is the correct .ini that needs to be edited. From what I have read here and on the Bethesda forums, games and Fallout 3 in particular do not run very well on workstations.

You have a killer GPU and should run the game much better than I can and I have a reasonably stable game. You might try the 4GB Large Address Aware Enabler to allow the game to access more than 2GBof RAM.
