Crash at "Drain the intake Pipes"

Poked around and could not find this type of crash so here it goes. Running through the "Waters of Life". Got a little ahead of myself and went down to the intake pipe control valve a little early. Could not activate the valve control and figured out I had to back track to "escort the scientists inside Project Purity". Carefully completed Objectives up to "Drain the Intake Valves" but I am suffering a CTD everytime I attempt to enter the pipe section that has the control valve. List of mods is below. Any Ideas? I have a "similar" problem. The difference is; I turn the valve and, the enclave shows up. When I go back up top, through the cistern gate, I can't get any reaction. "Dad" is locked in the control room, Dr Li is outside. Nothing happens and, I can't get out of the building. What did I do wrong???

Hello,

 

I have the originally formulated problem by skytale. The differences is though that I don't have any mods installed. Except for the 5 official DLC's and the unofficial patch provide by nexus. I use PC.

I turned of all unoffical data files and the game no longer crashed when entering the pipe area with the valve. Saved. Reloaded unoffical patch mods and reloaded game.

 

Problem solved.

If anyone EVER has this problem, EVER again, I released a quick and easy "fix" for it on the Nexus. It simply moves the Pipe Controls to the outside area on the metal catwalk that surrounds the building, so you can pass this part of the quest by going outside and turning the valve, and avoid crashing to desktop attempting to use the grate.
