PRID Console command

Hey guy's just a quick question on how to use the PRID command (I've never used that particular command before).

 

prid 3a77 this is to target Sydney

moveto player this will move her to me

additem cb547 1 will add Vengance to her inventory

equipitem cb547 will make her equip the weapon

additem 6b53e 1000 will add ammo for Vengance to her inventory

 

now that's all straight forward but my question is how,after typing prid 3a77, do I drop the line so I can type moveto player underneath the prid 3a77,and the rest of the txt to complete the command.

Obviously when typing this post I drop the type line with the 'Enter' key,but when I use that in the console it enters the prid command and it throws an error as it is an incomplete command.

 

What key do I use to drop the type line while typing in the console.

Command should be - prid 00003a77 (enter)

At the top of the screen her name will appear.

 

moveto player (enter) close the consol. Sydney will appear next to you. Open the consol and left click on Sydney, look at the top of the screen and confirm you have clicked on Sydney, her name will appear at the top of the screen.

 

additem command consists of- first two digits is the mod index number, then base id number, then how many to add, then condition of the item. (enter) ie: additem 6e000ea6 1 100, in my game would add one jeans outfit in 100% condition.

 

equipitem - base id number of the item to be equipped (enter)

 

additem - base id number, number of items, condition (enter)

 

close the consol and you will see in the upper left corner of the screen a confirmation that everything was completed.

Many thanks M48A5,this time it worked,i've been playing around with the command for a couple of hours and this time it success.

Just a quick scenario:-

I've just left 101 for the first time and I want Lucky Harith to have and use Vengance,have 100% repair and be essential,all without waiting/going to find him,how would I type that command.

I don't know if you can use the console to add weapons to the NPCs. You might have to reverse pickpocket them. I'm really not sure that the caravan merchants use weapons. I think only their guards do. Up until recently, the caravans in my game usually got wiped out. I have since used Essential Caravan Merchants to keep them alive, even though I hardly use them.

 

You can also use the Wiki I linked to find the base id numbers of anything or anyone in the vanilla game. For mods, you would need FO3Edit.
