radio station select on activation of jukebox/radio

The only way I can think of doing this would be to place several new copies of the different radio types (one for each station you would want to listen too) in the exact same spot. Then add a script to each that displays a menu and enables the one you want and disables the rest. I can't think of how to do it to the existing radios, though.

You could try using a menu, editing the basic script on the radio or jukebox. I haven't looked at them myself, but you can add a menu on about everything that is usable or activable (there are exceptions, like actors for example, but even most of those can be circumvented). If on the other hand the station is hardcoded, you would need to replace the radio and/or jukebox item with a new one.

 

Like I said, I haven't checked it in GECK, but I have done a lot of editing on it. :)

Yes, I looked the radio's up in GECK last night when I was tweaking my own mod and you are right atleast on the radio item part. I just forgot to post before I went to sleep. They do have only one radio station each. So the way to do it would be with a menu that changes the radio item itself, and make copies for the stations, which would then replace the radio item. Then again, it would probably be as easy to use a NPC which DOES have a geck command to change radiostations, weirdly enough (Enclave Eyebot for example), and access it thru an activator that has the radio as it's model.

 

As I said, I don't have a particular interest on this thing myself, as I'm busy with my own mods, but there are ways to accomplish things that many people think as "impossible". :)
