edian Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 I recently got into modding Oblivion, and over the last week I have finally got a version that excited me to play through it again. Since then I have encountered two very strange bugs. The first one would not let me load ANY game form a specific character. I had 3 saves "Tyea". I could load Tyea from the main menu, any of her saves OR from another character. I could not load ANY character if I was currently playing on Tyea. Quickload or otherwise. The second bug, and the more pressing one as I nuked the old Tyea save and all is well now, is that most monsters will not move. They will attack me if I get within range but otherwise their feet are mostly glued to the floor... Any ideas what could be causing this? Jenrai Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Methinks its RGO mate. Reneers Guard Overhaul. Try disabling that and see if it makes a difference. I've seen this one a couple of times. Especially if you're using the 2.whatever versions. If there hasn't been a recent fix released, try rolling back to the 1.0 series. edian Posted February 25, 2010 Author Share Posted February 25, 2010 I actually found out that it was the combo of RGO, OOO, Alternate Arrival by Ship and playing a custom race.... haha. Found someone that had the same problem buried in the forums. I turned off the Alternate Arrival and everything works fine... for now.
