Various mod ideas.

I wouldn't want to get any mods that make the game too easy, so to speak. Like a merch in my party. Perhaps a courier that can be summoned at any location who will take your items back to camp and place them in a storage chest (at a fee, regarding on how much items he must take back.)

have you ever played Torchlight, because I know you could send you Cat/Dog to the nearest merchant in that game =) if you use a storage chest you can basically store everything you want... if you use the "run to merchant, sell & return to me" idea, you will actually have to think twice on which you want to sell/keep =)

but I like the idea of having a (permanent) summon that can run off and sell your stuff to a merchant! =)

Indeed I have played Torchlight (great game). The run-to-town system was pretty useful in it., especially as you built up skills that reduced the time it took your pet to return.

The cooldown would depend on the summon skill level. Once you summon the NPC, he will open up a dialogue box, say a few things then bring up a storage box, in which you put your items and when you close it. He informs you that he's leaving, gets some money then vanishes.

that was the first thing that popped into my mind... especially since my current character is a Warrior/Templar himself... I don't NEED Alistair =P

he's not bad to have around as a sword and shield fighter when you get into areas with a lot of critters that do the Overwhelm attack. A lot of those shield attacks can knock the critter off of you if you're pinned down getting your face torn off.

Tho I myself prefer to use the no friendly fire mod, and whip out a blizzard or tempest. interrupts their attempts to overwhelm ;) Or if absolutely need be, blast them off with a close range fireball from one of the mages.

But yeah.... for the most part, I dont bring Al along unless he's needed for plot. Unless of course I'm wanting to listen to party banter, thats always good for a laugh :D

I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I truly love this game. With the good mods, even more.

I'm playing 2-4 hours, almost every day.

When I have fought a hard and "beautiful" battle yesterday, I was taking some screenshots in the middle of the battle and comes to my mind: an ingame replay function after the battles would be awesome.

I like the idea of the, let's say "tactical timeouts". It is very good idea. Against lots of and/or very strong enemies would be impossible to win playing with just real time decision making and execution. (I think may be it is true even with the easy difficulty setting. I'm playing with hard dificulty setting with my own restriction, when the first party member dies, it's the end of the - lost - battle for me and restart. I just don't like the idea of the automatic ressurection of dead party members after the battle.)

But after I have won the battle in that "stop and go" style, I would like to see the replay of the battle one or two (or more) times. Especially my "beloved" Leliana's :teehee: (modded by fallingangel89) moves with two daggers. Without these "stop and gos", real time, different camera angles, with capturing functions, slow motion, etc..

I'm sure I'm not the first who comes up with this idea, but I'm afraid it's close to impossible to create this ingame, "battle movie" mod. Aniway, may be the Makers (of the game  ) are watching these forums, and Dragon Age 2 will have this feature.

(Sorry for my - not too good - english!)
