tre288
I've no idea how to make mods, but I'm hoping for a good bar fight mod. I've got an idea floating in my head for a solid barfight type mod which basically adds one or more characters (each) to taverns scattered throughout Skyrim. Basically these NPC's are characters that sit around drinking in these bars and talk smack to you, bother you etc while enjoying your drinks. You as the player are able to start punching these people around, to which they'll retaliate. These aren't brawls where they surrender. These are brawls to the "death". I'm a fan of the hand to hand kill-moves and feel like they are good bar-fight moves. Rather than have the character actually die though, you could get prompted with a message saying "so and so has been knocked out. he'll be out of commission for a little bit" and upon returning to the bar a few days later see him back in the bar chatting the place up and again giving you sass. In short: - Characters scattered around the taverns of Skyrim- They are rude, but not hostile unless provoked- Fist fight them to "death"- Killing them is more like knocking them out.- They respawn/ "gain consciousness" after a day or so.- They return to bar for another beating if you desire.- since they are only "knocked out" no murder bounty. Anduniel
This idea intigues me. Im not an expert scripter by any means, but this sounds like something I actually might be able to do. Only problems I see are the "knocking out." The npc could be set essential and go to bleedout and be scipted to stop combat, OR set to be killable and then respawn. Bounty can be avoided (I believe) simply by not giving them crime factions.

tre288
You've got the gist of what I'm picturing Anduniel. They would have to actually be killed in order for the killmove-knockout to be present, but it would be without bounty, and their body could remain there for X amount of hours/days until they were to respawn, which would be played off as them regaining consciousness, and being ready for another challenge. This would of course only apply to a fist fight (if possible), since weapons would really kill/count as assault or attempted murder. (even though NPC is technically dying through fist fight anyway) Reyzark what you posted seems somewhat close to what I am picturing, but it would be tied to specially created bar patron characters specifically intended to be beat on publicly without any sort of bounty, and kill moves would be present for the final knockout blow. I was unable to find if that mod incorporated any brawling killmoves but from what I'm reading there I don't imagine it does. Thanks for the responses so far though both of you  Edited July 7, 2014 by tre288
AlduinWorldEater
I also like the idea of random bar fights breaking out between two different NPCs. Say, for example, you walk into Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm. There just happens to be a Dark Elf sitting near a Nord, and suddenly BOOM, they start duking it out. tre288
I hadn't thought about NPC interaction with another NPC but yeah, That would be pretty sweet  It's not something I much personally need though, as I like to be the one engaging the NPCs and whatnot, so I'm more concerned with just trying to get a good punchingbag NPC scattered around the taverns of Skyrim.
