@ Dir tek: Version one looks better for me, the white in the borders for version 2 really distract one's eye. Overall very sexy :wub: and the colours are great. Has a nostalgic feeling to it, maybe it's just me.

Thanks ^_^ but what part of the text should I be working on? I understand about the second sig, too much "apply image -> lighten/sharpen"

But the first one looks pretty ok, i've done better..

 

Your sig is awesome :] but that red drop above Mario's head looks too blurred/low quality, not as bold/striking as the butterfly or the yellow/brown swirls

Do you make the vectors yourself? Or downloaded them? Could you give a link to where you downloaded them? or if you made them, could you release a pack?

Thanks :) The red drop is blurry because of the depth. Since the color is lighter than Mario's it would have drawn attention.

 

I don't remember where I've downloaded the vectors from and since my speed is low and I don't have permissions to reupload them, I can't help you :)

Made this in After Effects today for a friend. I'm a newbie so it took me a while until I figured out how to make the particles look like "paint".
