Want to recreate a sort of Twisted Sister back to the dark ages type Apocalypse character (Basically I want to be Gary King from the World's End) Is there a way to do this? Just enter "port mods from Fallout 3 to Fallout NV". The instructions are the same for both ways. One thing, you cannot upload ported mods without the original mod author's permission. Fegeer Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 Hi everybody! I'm trying to port NV weapons to FO3. To be specific I'mt trying to replace the original weapons with new ones. So far I successfully ported the weapon (edited master files, put weapon files in the data folder) - the weapon is in the game and works just fine. But the animation is bugged. The mag and bolt don't move when reloading or shooting. Is there a way to edit the animations or port New Vegas animations to FO3? Thank you in advance! Thank you in advance!Unfortunately, there is no way to (easily) port new animations into Fallout 3 for weapon reloads. Fallout 3 has a set number of weapon reloads (A,B,C,D, ect.) hard coded into the game. To even add a new vegas animation would require some knowledge of coding and even if you could figure that out, you would completely replace one of the existing animations in the game. I have heard of sneaky ways of doing animations for weapons using idle animations, but I dont know how that would be done. When I replicated the Ranger Sequoia into Fallout 3 for my own personal use, to get the cylinder to work as it should, I used nifskope. I chopped out a 44. magnum reload cylinder with all the animations still attached and pasted it in place of the original ranger sequoia cylinder.
