Germandeathkittiez Posted February 28, 2010 Share Posted February 28, 2010 I am having a strange issue with Oblivion. The landscape in certain areas appears to be "raised." I first found this in this area to the right of Weye right across from the Aylied Ruin, the hill on that side has a huge gap in it and if I walk in there I fall into water. Now I just saw it again in Leyawiin, where in one end of the city the water and land were raised just a few inches above the ground, so it appeared like it was flooded. Now I'm scared of what's happening to my entire Oblivion landscape so does anyone know what's going on here? bben46 Posted February 28, 2010 Share Posted February 28, 2010 What you describe is usually caused by a conflict between 2 (or more) mods that make changes to the landscape features in the same cell. Many times, if you can find which ones, you can swap their load orders - if that is all they change. Some mods have compatibility patches to fix this. What happens is the first mod loaded makes a change to the vanilla landscape in the cell. Then another mod is loaded that makes a different change based on the expectation that the landscape is still vanilla. This can leave gaps in the landscape, floating rocks and trees, missing features and blocked or floating doorways. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
