Midas magic 0995 - Why i can't travel in the astral planes?

After entering the basement of midas shop i enter in the astral plane but when i reach the other astral gates it ask me to use astral mark first, i use the spell but when i try to enter in a gate nothing happens! if anyone can help me i'll be very grateful!!!

Thanks for the answer! mmmh i think i understand, i have seen a little island far away ^^ but the semi ring of 6-8 portals can be opened after i go to the little island or its a bug? because when i click on one of them (Ruby for example) it want me to cast the spell astral mark, after i have casted the spell and have chosen ruby i try to enter in the ruby portal but nothing happen, it just send me where i put the ruby mark! =(

these portals have NOTHING to do with astral travel

 

 

If you are somehwere and cast astral mark - ruby

 

then stepping into the ruby portal will take you there

 

and astral recall puts you in the center of the semi-ring.

What I dont understand is why the heck would you knock yourself out creating such an awesome mod, just to piss people off because you refuse to do a walk through for it? Some of us are are actual REAL adults with Jobs.. when we come home and need some down time, I dont want it filled with fighting my guts out trying to install a mod thats super difficult, and then get in the game and fight my guts out some more and end up cussing!

Im about to say F this crap and go watch tv. Its RUINING my weekend.

Luckily I just got desperate and started Googling the heck out of it since it is such a gorgeous mod.

 

I found a complete walk through on You tube!!!

Not only does it tell you what to do, it shows you.

 

To start off.. there is no journal entry or map marker or anything.. You have to guess if the mod even installed correctly.. so to check it.. go to the Archane university and look for Midas magic shop. You should see a magic shop with a door bell that wasnt there before. Inside will be Midas and two anime looking maids. There you can watch the You tube videos that explain how to use all the new strange machines in there and the books youll have to buy to figure this whole mod out.
