After seeing the item duplication trick for the PS3/X360 version, I set about trying to work out how it could be done in the PC version. After only a few minutes of trying different combonations, I found the solution.

 

Enjoy the trick but DO NOT EXPLOIT IT!

I found an easier way to duplicate items in Dragon Age, this method doubles the amount of stackable items.

 

First you need at least two of the same object.

 

- Go to a merch (A free one works best, so get the Tolby camp merch mod or go to the pub in Redcliffe in which you get free items, as long as you have go the barkeep to join the millitia.

 

- Sell one item to the merch, then go to the buy back screen.

 

- Hold the left and right mouse buttons on the item to then drag it to your inventory and release righth mouse button, then the left.

 

- Sell back using the same method.

 

- Keep doing this and you will keep duplicating the item in your own inv and the merch's inv.

 

- When you are done, simply take all of the duplicated items from the merch.

 

 

 

I recomend that you only do this if you have already completed the game. It will spoil the game experience if you choose to do so before that.

Is there a mod which duplicates items you only have once? I love wielding two swords at once but I'd like two of a kind and that's impossible if you have a really good one which only exists once in the game :(
