Fallout 3 does not run.

Right, so I'll summarize my issue:

Bought and installed Fallout 3, can run, play it just fine, so on so forth with no patches etc. With the -occasional- crash (say maybe once every 2 hours) which seems for the most part, normal, and isn't a problem at all for me.

Runs fine with the unofficial patch (Heck, runs -better- with the unofficial patch with rarer crashes and so on) 1.2.0 and with mods activated as well, specifically: [WeaponModKits.esp, RRRU +4 UFP.esp, FleshburningPlasma.esp]

I ran the game, got through the main menu, so on so forth, go to load my previous save and it says I need to run F.O.S.E. for WeaponModKits to work. So, I went and installed the aforementioned program (100% sure I did it properly) and once finished, ran FOSE. It displayed a message that said I needed to "get the latest patch from Bethsoft.com" before I could run FOSE, which I did. I then installed the 1.7 patch and attempted to run the game again, but...

Fallout3.exe is NOT RUNNING, at all. No error messages, nothing. It doesn't even show any symptoms that it's ~trying~ to run, it just entirely doesn't. I tried to play through both the .exe itself and the launcher--which opened fine, mind you, just not the game itself. I'm fairly sure its an issue with the 1.7 patch because I disabled all the mods I had installed and tried the unnofficial patch both activated and de-activated.

To put it simple; the 1.7 patch broke my Fallout 3 and it no longer runs, yet I need this patch to use Fallout Script Extender(FOSE) and thus, mods.

EDIT: And I did try the fakepatch listed here, but again it says I need the 1.7.

First, disable the unofficial/fake patches. You may need to do a clean reinstall to clean out Unofficial and Fakepatch, I forget what all they modify. Pretty sure I had to do the same when I switched from fake to official patch.
