gsp1507
When female character wears a 2h sword on her back, whenever she runs the sword cuts through the tendons at the back of her ankles... That's true for any races. Is there any way to fix this? Maybe shortening (scaling) all 2h swords, lifting carry slot on the back or changing animation - when the blade moves left, left leg goes forward, not backward? This glitch really annoying :wallbash:
DarkeWolf
yeah, you're not the first to complain about this. its a pretty common complaint. tho tbh, the 2h swords are an issue with a lot of other clipping as well. I've got several really cool shots of some fights that were ruined because a blade was sticking into the ground. Or was poking thru one of my legs. Or even one where it's run thru my other arm. Jonnywah
This is not a glitch. It's just un-avoidable object clipping. It happens in pretty much every game, one way or another.
gsp1507
tho tbh, the 2h swords are an issue with a lot of other clipping as well. It's forgivable, since fights are quick action and player can notice clipping mostly on pause or screenshot. But running animation I see every minute the whole game and it makes me really upset. This is not a glitch. It's just un-avoidable object clipping. It happens in pretty much every game, one way or another. But it doesn't happen to male warriors  All that need is a little change the angle of sword on the player's back. I think it's in parts.xls fields AttachNode and WeaponOffset but I don't know how should I change them.
whiteaden
I have not seen this happen (went to check just now), this could be because I don't use 2handed weaponry on female characters =P for I hate two-handed weapons, they're so slowwww... LOL I don't use them xD all my Warriors are either dual wielding or weapon + shield, I've used the respec mod to respec both Ogden & Sten to use 1 handed weapons (Sten is a dualwielder & Ogden a Sword+shield) Ogden kicks some major butt with Sword+Shield.... and Sten is a pain in the butt to kill with his Massive armor and pimped up weapons... (my mage loves both of them in a way that would require a romance mod to express out here... lol!)
DarkeWolf
There's a way to reduce the size of the weapons using a program called DATool. However, it scales the entire weapon. And if using it two handed you suddenly have your character's left hand holding thin air if holding it two handed. Same with if you change the angle that it sits on your back, you grab thin air to draw the weapon :(Dunno if that would affect the angle the character holds it at, or not. Same with if you adjust the height. dunno if that would translate over to when its in hand. Dual wield + 2h dual wield mod= coolness.dual wield 2h + momentum = fast coolness.dual wield 2h + momentum + high dex = very fast coolness. me+sten+ dw2h + momentum + high dex = MEAT GRINDER. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/DarkeWolf/StenDW.jpg
