falloutthree
I was checking though my load list when I came across a file called Update1-9881.ESP. Could anyone figure out what on earth this does/What it's for? Its been ages since I DL'ed it (didnt come with a readme apparently) and I can't seem to get any results using the advanced search :wallbash: Any help would be appreciated. :thanks:
David Brasher
If only people would give their mods descriptive names! I seriously don't know why people do things like that. If you are a bit of a modder, I suggest that you use the CS to open that mod and see what it changes. That might give you a clue about what other mod it is associated with or could tell you if it is a stand-alone mod with a really bad name. If you are not a modder, maybe you could e-mail it to a modder and have him or her tell you what the mod does.
Vagrant0
If only people would give their mods descriptive names! I seriously don't know why people do things like that.In fairness, the .esp name is probably "Update 1", but since it was added to the site directly as a file instead of it being put into something like a .rar archive, it was given some extra numbers to keep it from being confused with other files that are named "update 1". In cases like this, you can usually narrow it down by looking at the file creation date, comparing it against the list of mods you've downloaded from the site, and looking to see if any of them might contain some sort of optional fixes/updates. bamspeedy
Google it and you'll see other posts with that filename on their load order, so compare their list to yours so you can use the process of elimination to cut down the list of possibilities (only consider the files that are on your list as well as theirs). Best to click on 'cached' results on google so you get the 'Update1-9881.esp' highlighted for you on the page you go to. I would do it for you, but every list seems to have 150+ mods, and I don't know where to start, whereas you should have an idea of what is on your own list to help you get started. http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=+site:t...048890d3c90c6fc If the link isn't working (too long), just go to google and type in: Update1-9881.esp oblivion If you just want the nexusforum results, start the google search with: site:thenexusforums.com

SavageArtistry
I know you said you figured it out, but thought this might help for future reference. The 9881 is the number on the download page, so if you go to any download and plug in that number, it takes you straight to the page. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9881
