ForOdinForAsgard
I have loads of mods installed, and I was wondering what are the best mods to help with frames, crashes, stability, anything to help the game run smooth?
MethosTR
LOOT http://loot.github.io/ENBoost (works very well even if you don't run an ENB) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/? (note: requires the latest ENB binary files from http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.htm)SKSE 1.7 (has a memory allocation patch included) http://skse.silverlock.org/TES5EDIT (will clean the dirty edits and whatever else that LOOT flags for the mods you have) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/?Skyrim Save Cleaner (cleans junk data bloating your savegames) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/?Script Scalpel (cleans junk scripts from savegames) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045/? Protip: Always always always back up your saves BEFORE running the latter 2 mods listed above. Edited July 3, 2014 by MethosTR
Jeir
Project Optimisation. Improves performance in interiors.Grass on Steroids. Improves performance/increases FPS in exteriors. Some people use HiAlgoBoost, but that just caused my game to crash. Others also use Gamebooster, but I didn't notice any improvements. The two above are all I used when I played Skyrim. Gamebooster doesn't really do anything if you are in the control of your PC in the first place. It just shut downs 1-2 program for me, and that's all. notmyhome
You can compress textures via Optimizer Textures. That helps with RAM related problems.
