I am trying to get a custom map image for my worldspace in GECK but I want to know, do I have to completely make the image myself or does GECK have the tools to do it?If this doesn't really cover what I'm asking to do, then I'll put it this way. I would like to see my map when I go to my Pipboy 3000 and go over to the map section. I don't want to just see map markers. How can I do this? BerlinRunner Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 Well it's a LOT more trickier than just a simple texture. I was making one for my mod and good golly, it took me like two days to get it down. Idk if my method was the most complicated and difficult, and maybe someone else has some easier way to do it, but I suggest trying to make sure what part of the world you are trying to "texturize." Also, maybe someone else will agree, the hardest part is probably the sizing, it took me FOREVER to get that part, because the GECK is very picky on not only the format, but also the sizing. TrickyVein Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 If you import an image into the heightmap editor, which you should be doing anyway (:)) then you can use the image as a base for your pipboy worldmap image and the two will line up perfectly.
