Malikin
LOL, I wonder what some wastelander would think if he saw a mothership carrying 50 muties and dropping them in the Citadel. That would start some conversation... The things the BoS lack is communacation, transportation and small amount of tech. If they had thes things, I think the wastes would actually feel safe (At least those who support the BoS) I really do not think it would be conversation that started! As for seeing, I do not think anyone would see anything, it being a rather big ship. Which reminds me.. we could also drop those buttercup horses all over and see what happens.. if anything they would make a nice scene if dropped on top of people's heads. I did not see your response to a Liberty Prime with an Alien shield And Stealth Field... heh heh, knowing how much you like that robot.
Rossum
(20 minutes after posting) CRAP: I JUST realized something. Enclave: a post apoc group of people run by a computer. Paranoia: a post apoc group of people run by a computer. ARGH "commie mutant traitors!" I hope we all have high security clearance for reading these forums, otherwise we are going to need a lot of clones.. ok, there is my side thought of the night. Well, there is one of the vaults that apparently has the equipment to make Gary clones... Heh, if you wanted to, you could go there and try getting the cloning thing set up and create your own clone army... or clone organ donors (whichever you want). But yeah, I really like the RobCo certified mod and getting a robot army. I've got the battery charger mod to turn energy weapon ammo into fission batteries, and the recycling things to turn tin cans into scrap metal. I had one game where I wandered the desert and restored every robot I ran into and sent them all to the parking lot of the RobCo factory (also had the wasteland settler thing there so that whenever the raiders attacked they were instantly taken out by my growing robot hoard). As for what I would like for my Robot Army: 1. Eyebot Patrol units - Either find a way to make my own eyebots or hack into the Enclaves system and use their eyebots for myself. Use them as a way to keep tabs on the various places and broadcast my own radio station. 2. Robot Beacons - Get some beacons or set up communication towers so that robots can navigate to the various places like the Super-Duper Mart, RobCo, or Fort Independence. Have the Eyebots go to those places so I can keep an eye on them. Then, I can just contact the robots and tell them to navigate from beacon to beacon... maybe set up some sort of automated patrol route or something. 3. Support Units - Not all robots are good for combat but can help out elsewhere, the Mr. Handy robots and Protectrons can be used in my bases to maintain the buildings, run equipment, and repair other robots. Damaged Sentry Bots could limp back where the Mr. Handys patch them back up again. Support units could also help gather raw materials or loot the corpses of fallen enemies. Get the Protections to 'clean up' areas and bring the stuff back to base. 4. Improvements and Upgrades - Add some extra armor to the Brainbots and put a helmet or something over their exposed brain case. See if I can't remove the dinky laser from the Eyebots and equip them with sniper rifles or mine layers (send an eyebot to an area with a supply of frag mines and have it drop them all off... or have a Mister Gutsy do that). Protectrons are cool but I'm sure I could add some extra protection to them (at least take a regular set of leather armor, cut it into strips, and layer that over the Protectrons armor) and replace its laser arms with better weapons like Assault Rifles or something. BrainBot are cool but I can replace those claws and slinky arms with some better weapons. 5. RoboMerchants - Copy the program Shakes from Tenpenny Tower is running and have some robots selling things. With a My First Laboratory I can get a steady supply of chems to sell and with Mr. Handys I can sell purified water. Program my robomerchants with good barter skills and they can get good deals on what they buy and sell, give a frequent customer discount and I can ensure return customers, add a VIP discount into the system and just refuse to give it to anyone... anyone that does get a VIP account must be a hacker that gave it to themselves. Keep an eye on these people. Have these RoboMerchants guarded and roam the place to the various settlements to trade their wares while being backed up with more combat capable robots. Have them buy up all the ammo they can get along with any other valuable items I could use. If I can program good medicinal skills into my robots then I can have traveling wasteland robot doctors who patch people up and guarantee their loyalty to me. 6. Anti-Monster Mines - Get a Mr. Gutsy or other flying robot, reprogram some mines to only explode in the presence of non-humans (like Deathclaws, Super Mutants, or the various other creatures of the waste) and have them deposit those mines all over the place (I assume its possible to make mines selective against non-humans since the frag mines apparantly use some kind of proximity sensor and can tell between you and your friends and raiders. Thus making anti-monster mines is perfectly feasible).

Anyway, I think that if Liberty did have all of those accessories, he would be the king of destruction! Although, it makes me wonder what would happen to the power usage. It would most likely raise it to an enormous amount. Well, I suppose an alien mothership could support his power, heck, they could probably fix him all the way up. And for the Sentry Bot's: If they had Tesla Cannon's, they would be an enormous problem for the Enclave, if the BoS was using them. But, you do know that in the GECK, if you edit the SentryGatlingLaser, you can make the projectile a tesla blast or whatever else you want. Plus, you can change the model type for the Sentry Bot (Make him have 2 missle luanchers) That really was a good idea though! Kazakovich
I think my forces would consist of me, dogmeat and perhaps a fellow scavenger. Our base would be a campfire under a monorail or in some sheltered ruin. There we'd sit, enjoying some freshly scavenged beer and speculate on how much the Brotherhood would pay for the box of Action Comix we dug out earlier. The dream would be to scavenge Fort Constantine and visit the White House, one day.

I do however question why you named your force a "force"... I mean, you siad you'de sit by the campfire and sing your campfire song song, and would not really hunt or kill anything... Yes, my friend. The information my topic has produced can be reproduced, if you have the skill to do it. Plus, the DLC's do replecate SOME of the ideas presented here. I see that you are new to the forums (I assume) Welcome :) Falloutperson416

I guess my mind just wasn't as dynamic as i believe the game was. you guys opened my mind though! haha, making the game about 15x more in depth then i ever thought. perhaps, could you give me a "must have" list/order in your opinion of which dlc's i should get? i have the broken steel one right now, but i'm not at the end of the MQ so... that'll come later. once again thanks : D -Jake aka "Bass"
falloutperson416
Well, in my opinion, Mothership Zeta would shuld come next. I really enjoyed that one. Then, Point Lookout, and The Pitt next, leaving Operation Anchorage last. Falloutperson416
Tertisentar
Both the Pitt and Operation Anchorage contain static NPC's that don't level with you as you go up (apart from the trogs of which the upper tier is still really, really weak) so I'd recommend doing them as early as possible to achieve maximum challenge, though you'll go up a level or five in the process :/. I always save Point Lookout for later because it's the only thing providing a true challenge later on in the game, and as for MZ, fit it in somewhere where you'd like it to. Broken Steel can be played at the same pace as the main quest :P
