NuclearWinterLover
Could someone take the bottom of the college robe and attach it to the steel plate armor top? The steel plate would need to have its loincloth removed/trimmed down, for example in this picture. http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/23669-1-1346831073.png Once that's done, would it be possible to put the skirt section of the college robe around the legs of the steel plate set? This part in particular. http://i.imgur.com/Sch4nKf.png If it isn't, would it instead be possible to just take the upper half of the steel plate set and the lower half of the college robe and bash them together? I'd appreciate either option. I'm only worried about a male variant, since the female steel plate armor replacer I use isn't free to edit as far as I'm aware. And in case anyone's wondering what I mean by Faraam-esque, it's meant to evoke a look similar to this set from Dark Souls 2. http://i.imgur.com/2pwF7Fa.png
Deleted1308005User
Dang it. I wish I could comprehend how to simply remove parts from armor in blender/3ds max without breaking everything and do really minor edits to them. I could do so much stuff with only that knowledge ;___; Anyhow, I think the cultist set/miraak's robes might have better choice for the lower part. Minor texture edits and voilá. NuclearWinterLover
If only. Those sets would look interesting, but that'd create DLC dependencies and the need for a plugin. As cool as it would be, the only way I could see it remaining a plugin-free replacer is using vanilla-only assets.
DoctorKaizeld
use thishttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36780/?the skirt is separate... well unless you play a male character... not sure if it'll work
Deleted1308005User
Well, if we want vanilla assets, I'd use thalmor armor.

Well, if we want vanilla assets, I'd use thalmor armor. That would look pretty nice, actually. Might need to be shortened a bit, but even as-is it'd be a good choice. The psijic robe could also look neat, but I'm not sure how easy it'd be to cut that mesh in half without it looking wonky. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52407/? Not exactly what I'm hoping for, unfortunately. It's a nice effort, but it needs a plugin and the textures aren't that great. The idea is to make an ESP-less replacer for male steel plate. I've seen (and actively use) a few replacers that add new textures to their added parts without a plugin, so it's at least a feasible idea, I hope. NuclearWinterLover
yeah I noticed. I just suggested the mod for you to check if it could work. im not sure if it could be used or not. It doesn't, unfortunately. It causes parts of male characters to go invisible on equipping them.
